Old Testament
Adbeel
Adbeel was the third son of Ishmael and a tribal leader among the descendants of Abraham.
Adbeel is listed in the genealogies of Genesis 25 and 1 Chronicles 1 as one of the twelve sons of Ishmael. As a son of Ishmael, he represents one of the tribal heads who fulfilled the promise that Ishmael would become the father of twelve princes. His inclusion serves to document the fulfillment of God's covenantal promises regarding Ishmael's descendants.
