Amasa
Amasa was David's nephew and commander of the army who was later betrayed and killed by Joab.
Amasa was the son of Abigail, David's sister, and served as the commander of Absalom's rebel army. After the rebellion, David appointed him to replace Joab as commander of his own forces. His life ended when Joab, motivated by jealousy and vengeance, murdered him during the pursuit of Sheba.
