Absalom
The third son of King David who led a violent rebellion to usurp his father's throne.
Absalom was a prince of Israel known for his striking appearance and his calculated efforts to win the hearts of the people away from David. His life is defined by the tragic cycle of vengeance following the violation of his sister Tamar and his subsequent failed coup against his father. His death in the forest of Ephraim serves as a sobering fulfillment of the judgment pronounced upon David's house.
