Old Testament
Buz
The second son of Nahor and Milcah, and the ancestor of a tribe mentioned in the prophetic books.
Buz was the son of Nahor, Abraham's brother, making him a nephew of the patriarch. His descendants formed a tribe or region known as the Buzites, which is mentioned alongside Dedan and Tema in the judgment prophecies of Jeremiah. The name represents a branch of the Aramean lineage connected to the family of Abraham.
