Old Testament
Eden
The garden planted by God in the east where He placed the first man, Adam.
Eden is the garden of delight established by God as the original dwelling place for humanity. It serves as the setting for the creation of man, the institution of marriage, and the subsequent fall into sin. Throughout the prophets, the restoration of Eden becomes a powerful symbol of God's future blessing and the renewal of His creation.
