Old Testament
Hul
A son of Aram and grandson of Shem, listed in the Table of Nations in Genesis 10.
Hul is identified in the genealogies of Genesis 10 and 1 Chronicles 1 as one of the four sons of Aram, the son of Shem. As a descendant of Noah, he represents one of the ancestral lines that branched out to form the nations following the flood. His inclusion serves to document the expansion and diversification of the Semitic peoples in the ancient world.
