Old Testament
Igal
A representative of the tribe of Judah sent by Moses to scout the land of Canaan.
Igal was the son of Joseph and one of the twelve spies chosen to explore the Promised Land. He is listed among the tribal leaders in Numbers 13:7. The name also appears in 2 Samuel 23:36 and 1 Chronicles 3:22, though these references likely refer to different individuals given the chronological and genealogical context.
