New Testament
Jorim
An ancestor of Jesus Christ mentioned in the genealogy recorded in the Gospel of Luke.
Jorim is listed in Luke 3:29 as a descendant of Levi and an ancestor of Jesus through the line of Nathan. He appears exclusively in this genealogical record, which traces the lineage of Christ back to Adam. His inclusion serves to establish the humanity and historical legitimacy of Jesus as the promised Messiah.
