Meshillemith
A priest of the line of Immer who served in Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile.
Meshillemith was a descendant of Immer and a priest who resided in Jerusalem following the return from Babylonian captivity. His name is recorded in the genealogical lists of 1 Chronicles 9:12 and Nehemiah 11:13, which document the priestly families tasked with temple service. He represents the restoration of the priestly order and the re-establishment of covenant worship in the post-exilic community.
