Old Testament
Mishma
Mishma was a son of Ishmael and a tribal leader among the twelve princes of the Ishmaelite clans.
Mishma is identified in Genesis 25:14 and 1 Chronicles 1:30 as the eighth son of Ishmael, the son of Abraham and Hagar. As one of the twelve princes descended from Ishmael, he represents the fulfillment of the divine promise that Ishmael would become the father of twelve tribal leaders. His inclusion in the genealogical records serves to document the expansion of Ishmael's descendants throughout the region.
