Naboth
A Jezreelite who refused to sell his ancestral vineyard to King Ahab, leading to his unjust execution.
Naboth was a faithful Israelite who upheld the Mosaic law regarding ancestral land inheritance by refusing to sell his vineyard to King Ahab. His principled stand led Queen Jezebel to orchestrate a false trial and his subsequent execution. His death became a focal point for divine judgment against the house of Ahab, as prophesied by Elijah.
