Ahijah
A Shilonite prophet who announced the division of the kingdom under Jeroboam I.
Ahijah the Shilonite was a prominent prophet during the reigns of Solomon and Jeroboam I. He famously tore his garment into twelve pieces to signify that God would take the kingdom from Solomon's house and give ten tribes to Jeroboam. His ministry serves as a critical turning point in Israel's history, illustrating God's sovereign judgment over the monarchy.
