New Testament
Naggai
An ancestor of Jesus Christ listed in the genealogy recorded in the Gospel of Luke.
Naggai is mentioned only in Luke 3:25 as a link in the ancestral line between David and Jesus. He appears in the genealogy tracing Jesus' lineage through Nathan, the son of David. His inclusion serves to establish the historical and legal humanity of Christ.
