Both Testaments
Nahshon
A leader of the tribe of Judah and an ancestor of King David and Jesus Christ.
Nahshon was the son of Amminadab and a prince of the tribe of Judah during the wilderness wanderings. He is significant for his role as a leader who presented offerings during the dedication of the tabernacle and for his place in the royal genealogy of David. His inclusion in the lineage of Jesus in both Matthew and Luke highlights his importance in the covenantal history of Israel.
