Old Testament
Nebuzaradan
The captain of the Babylonian guard who oversaw the destruction of Jerusalem and the exile of its people.
Nebuzaradan served as the chief executioner and commander under King Nebuchadnezzar II. He was responsible for burning the temple and the king's palace in Jerusalem, as well as deporting the remaining inhabitants to Babylon. His actions fulfill the prophetic warnings of judgment against Judah for their persistent idolatry and rebellion.
