Omar
A son of Eliphaz and grandson of Esau, listed among the chiefs of the Edomite clans.
Omar is identified in the genealogies of Genesis 36 and 1 Chronicles 1 as a son of Eliphaz, the firstborn of Esau. He is listed as one of the descendants through whom the Edomite clans were established. His inclusion serves to document the lineage of Esau and the expansion of his family line in the region of Seir.
