Old Testament
Rei
A loyal supporter of King David who remained faithful during Adonijah's attempted usurpation of the throne.
Rei is mentioned only once in 1 Kings 1:8 as one of the few men who refused to join Adonijah's conspiracy to seize the kingship. By standing apart from the rebellion, he demonstrated loyalty to David and the divinely ordained succession of Solomon. His brief appearance highlights the division within David's court during the transition of power.
