Old Testament
Sallu
A Benjamite leader and priest who returned to Jerusalem after the Babylonian exile.
Sallu is identified in the genealogies of 1 Chronicles and Nehemiah as a descendant of Benjamin who settled in Jerusalem following the return from exile. He served as a representative of his clan during the post-exilic restoration of the city. His inclusion in these records highlights the preservation of the tribal lineages and the priestly order during the rebuilding of Jerusalem.
