Old Testament
Shepho
A descendant of Seir the Horite and son of Shobal mentioned in the genealogical records of Edom.
Shepho is identified in the genealogies of Genesis 36 and 1 Chronicles 1 as a son of Shobal, a chief among the Horites who inhabited the land of Seir. His inclusion serves to document the ancestral lines of the Edomite clans that preceded the descendants of Esau. He represents the historical record of the indigenous peoples displaced or integrated by the Edomites in the region.
