Old Testament
Zohar
A Hittite whose son Ephron sold the cave of Machpelah to Abraham for a burial site.
Zohar is identified as the father of Ephron the Hittite in Genesis 23:8. He is mentioned in the context of Abraham's negotiation to purchase land for Sarah's burial. A different Zohar, a descendant of Judah, is also listed in the genealogy of 1 Chronicles 4:7.
