Abiathar
A high priest and descendant of Eli who served King David during his exile and reign.
Abiathar was the sole survivor of the massacre of the priests at Nob, fleeing to David with the ephod. He served as a faithful priest alongside Zadok throughout David's reign but was later deposed by Solomon for supporting Adonijah's failed claim to the throne. His life illustrates the fulfillment of the prophecy against the house of Eli and the transition of the priesthood.
