Ophrah
A town in the territory of Benjamin and the hometown of Gideon in the tribe of Manasseh.
The name Ophrah refers to two distinct locations in the Old Testament. One was a city in the inheritance of the tribe of Benjamin, while the other was in Manasseh and served as the home of the judge Gideon, where he built an altar to the Lord. The name is also referenced in Micah 1:10 as a location subject to coming judgment.
