Shiloh
A significant religious center in Ephraim that housed the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant for centuries.
Shiloh served as the central sanctuary for Israel during the period of the judges, housing the Ark of the Covenant until its capture by the Philistines. It is also referenced in the messianic prophecy of Genesis 49:10, where it denotes the coming ruler from the tribe of Judah. The site later became a symbol of divine judgment due to the corruption of the priesthood and the nation's disobedience.
