Saul
The first king of Israel, chosen by God but later rejected for his disobedience and failure to follow the Lord.
Saul was a Benjamite anointed by Samuel to lead Israel as its first monarch. His reign began with military success but was marred by his repeated failure to obey divine commands, leading to the eventual transfer of the kingdom to David. His life serves as a sobering biblical example of the consequences of pride and disobedience in leadership.
