Old Testament
Asriel
A descendant of Manasseh and the ancestral head of the Asrielite clan within the tribe of Manasseh.
Asriel was a son of Gilead and a grandson of Manasseh, serving as the patriarch of the Asrielite clan. His lineage is recorded in the census of the Israelites in the wilderness and later in the genealogical records of the tribe of Manasseh. His significance lies in his role as a foundational figure for one of the clans that received an inheritance in the land of Canaan.
