Elihu
A young man who rebuked Job and his friends for their flawed understanding of God's justice.
Elihu the Buzite appears in the Book of Job as a younger observer who challenges the three friends for failing to answer Job and rebukes Job for justifying himself rather than God. He emphasizes God's sovereignty and the pedagogical purpose of suffering. The name Elihu is also shared by an ancestor of Samuel in 1 Samuel 1:1 and a brother of David in 1 Chronicles 27:18.
