Jehoiada
A faithful high priest who protected the Davidic line and restored true worship in Judah.
Jehoiada was a prominent high priest who orchestrated the coup against the usurper Athaliah to place the young king Joash on the throne. He served as a mentor to Joash, guiding the nation in covenant renewal and the repair of the temple. Scripture records two men by this name, with the priest being the most significant figure in the history of the Southern Kingdom.
