Both Testaments
Medan
The third son of Abraham and Keturah, he became the progenitor of a nomadic tribe in the Arabian region.
Medan was born to Abraham and his wife Keturah after the death of Sarah. As one of the sons of the concubines, he received gifts from his father and was sent away to the east to avoid conflict with Isaac. His descendants are historically associated with the Midianites and other nomadic peoples of the Arabian Peninsula.
