Pharaoh
The title for Egyptian monarchs who interacted with Israel, most notably during the Exodus.
Pharaoh is a royal title used throughout the Old Testament to identify various Egyptian rulers. These figures range from the king who encountered Abram to the hardened oppressor who resisted Moses and the ten plagues. Their interactions with Israel serve as a recurring theme of divine sovereignty over earthly powers and the deliverance of God's people.
