Moses
The prophet and lawgiver chosen by God to deliver the Israelites from Egyptian slavery.
Moses served as the mediator of the Mosaic Covenant, receiving the Law on Mount Sinai and leading Israel through the wilderness. His life is defined by his unique face-to-face relationship with God and his role in establishing the priesthood and tabernacle. He remains a central figure in Scripture, prefiguring the ultimate Prophet and Deliverer, Jesus Christ.
