Jeremiah
A prophet called by God to warn Judah of impending judgment and exile during the final years of the kingdom.
Jeremiah, son of Hilkiah, served as a prophet to Judah from the reign of Josiah until the fall of Jerusalem. Known as the weeping prophet, he faithfully delivered God's message of repentance despite intense persecution and rejection by his own people. His ministry emphasizes the necessity of internal heart change and the promise of a future new covenant.
