Old Testament
Rab-saris
An Assyrian official sent by Sennacherib to Jerusalem to demand the surrender of King Hezekiah.
Rab-saris is a title meaning chief eunuch or chief officer, rather than a proper name. He served as a high-ranking official under the Assyrian King Sennacherib. Alongside the Tartan and the Rabshakeh, he participated in the intimidating diplomatic mission to the walls of Jerusalem to demand Judah's submission.
