Reuben
The firstborn son of Jacob and Leah, he became the patriarch of the Tribe of Reuben in Israel.
Reuben was the eldest son of Jacob, born to Leah, and played a complex role as a leader among his brothers. While he attempted to save Joseph from death, he also lost his birthright due to his moral failure with Bilhah. His descendants formed one of the twelve tribes of Israel, which settled east of the Jordan River.
