Hebron
An ancient city in the hill country of Judah, significant as a burial site for patriarchs and a royal capital.
Hebron is a prominent city in the Judean highlands, originally known as Kiriath-arba. It served as the burial place for Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, and Jacob, and later became the initial capital of David's kingdom before he moved to Jerusalem. The city remains a central location throughout the Old Testament, functioning as a city of refuge and a key administrative center for the tribe of Judah.
