Nebuchadnezzar
The powerful Neo-Babylonian king who conquered Jerusalem and exiled the people of Judah to Babylon.
Nebuchadnezzar II was the ruler of the Neo-Babylonian Empire who destroyed Solomon's Temple and carried the Jews into captivity. His reign serves as a primary instrument of God's judgment against Judah for their idolatry. Through the accounts in Daniel, he eventually acknowledges the sovereignty of the Most High God after experiencing divine humbling.
