Paul

A former persecutor of the church transformed by Christ to become the primary apostle to the Gentiles.

Originally known as Saul of Tarsus, Paul was a Pharisee who encountered the resurrected Jesus on the road to Damascus. He authored thirteen epistles in the New Testament, establishing foundational Christian theology and planting churches throughout the Roman Empire. His ministry focused on the gospel of grace and the inclusion of Gentiles in the covenant promises of God.
